Speaker: Nancy Loe

Join professional librarian, archivist, and genealogist Nancy Loe in learning about archival records & repositories, finding aids for genealogists, genealogy records in archives and how to request archival materials to advance your research.

Nancy Loe is a genealogist and has worked in professionally in libraries and archives for four decades. She holds dual Master’s degrees from The Catholic University of America in American History and in Library Science with a specialization in archives administration. Her first professional job was Head of Local History and Genealogy at the Pikes Peak Library District. Since then she's managed academic special collections and archives in California where she and her staff acquired, preserved, organized archival collections.

In 2010 she started Sassy Jane Genealogy and has since appeared on PBS’s American Experience and California’s Gold, and the Travel Channel, and has presented at RootsTech, National Genealogical Society, and conferences and webinars in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
