For those involved in other organizations in the Great Victoria area and are looking for new ideas for their meeting presentations, why not book a VGS Ambassador to talk about genealogy at their event?

Our VGS Ambassador service is engaged in promoting genealogy and family history in our community, in person or via Zoom. Our most popular talks introduce people to the world of genealogy with basic tips to get the audience started on their own family trees.

For more information, or to book a speaker, please contact our VGS Ambassador Coordinator via our Contact Us form.

Please consider helping VGS when you shop for groceries at Fairway Market stores. VGS is now enrolled in the Fairway Market Community Card program. It's easy for members and non-members alike to participate. Pick up your free card at the Victoria Genealogy Learning and Research Centre.

Fairway Market donates 5% of all amounts loaded onto cards to VGS on a quarterly basis. You can spend 100% of the funds you load onto your card at Fairway Market (you lose nothing).

Thank you for your support of VGS!
