About this event

VGS HERITAGE HISTORY HOUR

Kent Kraemer
In researching the 160th Canadian Overseas (Bruce) Battalion, military records were an invaluable tool. These personnel files contained, not only, personal information of the soldier, but also that of their family. Their service history includes enlistment and discharge dates, rank, unit assignments, and information about injuries sustained.

Kent Kraemer is a Toronto-based military historian and genealogist whose passion lies in uncovering the lives of soldiers from Bruce County, Ontario, Canada. Since 2015 he has been chronicling the 160th Bruce Battalion’s day-to-day activities on the 160th Bruce Battalion Facebook page .
